Christmas Light Switch On

Trowse’s Christmas lights will be turned on by Father Christmas on Friday 1st December at 5.30pm.

OUR VILLAGE SIGN

Some of you have already noticed the Trowse village sign is missing from it’s usual spot by the bridge. Unfortunately the Parish Council had to make the decision to remove it for the time being due to a very rotten post. It was thought it could pose a health and safety risk if left in place and we didn’t want any more damage to occur. The Parish Council are currently investigating options for repair/replacement for the sign. We are keen to preserve the historical nature of the original sign so something sympathetic to that will be sought.

The Council is considering offering a defibrillator training day for members of the Parish – if there is any interest?  Please let the Clerk know if you would like to attend.

If you see any streetlight problems they can be reported either to the Parish Clerk or online here:

The defibrillator on The Manor Rooms, The Street, is cared for by the Parish Council – if you see any issues with this equipment please advise the Clerk or Councillor Greenizan.
